1. Health and Wellness
Nutrition, physical activity, internet safety, peer relationships, learning and behavior problems, drugs and alcohol, as well as making decisions about allergies, nursing, and defibrillators in the schools.


2. Bridge Academic Excellence
Equity and achievement for every student in every school in Howard County. Striving for excellence among all students, making sure no child gets forgotten during the middle school transition years, and seeing that all students have opportunities to succeed.


3. Strengthen Ties between Community, School and Home.
Education starts at home, so we need to bridge the gaps between the home, the school, and the community to optimize our children's education.
