When Janet was asked why she is running for the Board of Education, her response was,
"What could be more important than our children's education? We are fortunate to live in one of the best counties in the nation with a top notch school system. We need to sustain that momentum and build on our future generations. I've focused my entire career on children's health, and now it’s time to give back to the community. There are many issues facing our children today, and with my medical background I feel I can bring my expertise to the Board of Education."
